The Rolex Platinum Daytona 40 (Ref. 126506) is part of the Cosmograph Daytona line. The Daytona has been Rolex's racing chronograph since 1963, built to time laps and measure average speed with its tachymetric scale. This reference has a 40mm case in 950 platinum. 950 platinum is heavier and rarer than gold, which is why Rolex uses it only for its top models.
