This Rolex Everose Gold Daytona 40 "Le Mans", reference 126525LN, is a member of the Cosmograph Daytona family. The Daytona has been Rolex's racing chronograph since 1963, built to time laps and measure average speed with its tachymetric scale. It has a 40mm case in 18k Everose gold. Everose is Rolex's own pink gold alloy, made in its foundry so the colour does not fade over time. Among collectors it goes by the nickname "Le Mans".
Its white and black dial sets the tone for the whole watch. The dial is surrounded by a black Cerachrom ceramic bezel insert. The watch is fitted with the three-piece-link Oyster bracelet.
Inside is the Rolex manufacture caliber 4132, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 72 hours. It is certified as a Superlative Chronometer, Rolex's standard of accuracy within −2/+2 seconds per day once cased. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters.
