The Rolex Everose Gold Daytona 40 carries reference 126505. The Daytona has been Rolex's racing chronograph since 1963, built to time laps and measure average speed with its tachymetric scale. Its 40mm case is crafted in 18k Everose gold. Everose is Rolex's own pink gold alloy, made in its foundry so the colour does not fade over time.
The black index dial uses applied index hour markers. Around the dial sits an Everose gold bezel engraved with a tachymetric scale. The watch is fitted with the three-piece-link Oyster bracelet.
Inside is the Rolex manufacture caliber 4131, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 72 hours. It is certified as a Superlative Chronometer, Rolex's standard of accuracy within −2/+2 seconds per day once cased. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters.
