The Rolex Steel and Yellow Gold Daytona 40 carries reference 116503. The Daytona has been Rolex's racing chronograph since 1963, built to time laps and measure average speed with its tachymetric scale. Its 40mm case is crafted in Oystersteel and 18k yellow gold. This steel-and-gold combination is what Rolex calls Rolesor, a signature of the brand since 1933.
On the front, the black diamond dial has diamond hour markers. Around the dial sits a yellow gold bezel engraved with a tachymetric scale. The case is paired with the three-piece-link Oyster bracelet.
