The Rolex Yellow Gold Lady-Datejust Pearlmaster 29 carries reference 80298. The Pearlmaster is Rolex's gem-set jewellery line, built on the Datejust with the date magnified under the Cyclops lens. Its 29mm case is crafted in 18k yellow gold. The gold is cast in Rolex's own foundry, which controls its colour and quality.
On the front, the mother-of-pearl Roman dial is cut from natural mother-of-pearl, so every dial has its own pattern, and uses Roman numerals. It is framed by a bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The watch is fitted with the Pearlmaster bracelet with rounded five-piece links and a concealed Crownclasp.
The movement is the in-house Rolex caliber 2235, which runs for about 48 hours once fully wound. It is an officially certified chronometer, tested by COSC for accuracy. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters.
