This Rolex Yellow Gold Lady-Datejust Pearlmaster 29, reference 80298, is a member of the Pearlmaster family. The Pearlmaster is Rolex's gem-set jewellery line, built on the Datejust with the date magnified under the Cyclops lens. It has a 29mm case in 18k yellow gold. Rolex casts its own 18k gold in-house, so the colour stays consistent from case to bracelet.
The mother-of-pearl diamond dial is cut from natural mother-of-pearl, so every dial has its own pattern, and has diamond hour markers. It is framed by a bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The watch is fitted with the Pearlmaster bracelet with rounded five-piece links and a concealed Crownclasp.
Inside is the Rolex manufacture caliber 2235, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 48 hours. The movement is a COSC-certified chronometer, known for its reliability. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters.
