The Day-Date was launched in 1956 as the first wristwatch to show both the date and the day of the week spelled out in full, and it is made only in gold and platinum. Its diamond pave dial is paved with diamonds. It is framed by a bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The watch is fitted with the President bracelet with semi-circular three-piece links and a concealed Crownclasp, set with diamonds.
