Reference 126622 is the Rolex Steel and Platinum Yacht-Master 40. The Yacht-Master is Rolex's nautical watch, with a bidirectional rotatable 60-minute bezel. The 40mm case is made of Oystersteel and 950 platinum. Rolex has combined steel and gold this way since 1933 and calls it Rolesor.
On the front, the blue dial sets the tone for the whole watch. The dial is surrounded by a bidirectional rotatable bezel with raised numerals. The watch is fitted with the three-piece-link Oyster bracelet.
The movement is the in-house Rolex caliber 3235, which runs for about 70 hours once fully wound. It is certified as a Superlative Chronometer, Rolex's standard of accuracy within −2/+2 seconds per day once cased. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters.
