Reference 326938 is the Rolex Yellow Gold Sky-Dweller 42. The Sky-Dweller combines an annual calendar with a second time zone, and both are set through the rotatable Ring Command bezel. The 42mm case is made of 18k yellow gold. The gold is cast in Rolex's own foundry, which controls its colour and quality.
On the front, the champagne Arabic dial uses Arabic numerals. The dial is surrounded by the fluted Ring Command bezel. It is worn on the three-piece-link Oyster bracelet.
The movement is the in-house Rolex caliber 9001, which runs for about 72 hours once fully wound. Every movement of this generation is tested as a Superlative Chronometer, accurate to within −2/+2 seconds a day. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters. The Oyster case itself goes back to 1926, when Rolex introduced the first waterproof wristwatch case.
