The Submariner has been Rolex's reference dive watch since 1953, with a unidirectional rotatable 60-minute bezel for timing dives. The 41mm case is made of Oystersteel. Oystersteel is Rolex's own corrosion-resistant steel, used on all of its steel watches. Among collectors it goes by the nickname "Starbucks".
