The Rolex Everose Gold Day-Date 36 carries reference 118235. The Day-Date was launched in 1956 as the first wristwatch to show both the date and the day of the week spelled out in full, and it is made only in gold and platinum. Its 36mm case is crafted in 18k Everose gold. Everose is Rolex's own pink gold alloy, made in its foundry so the colour does not fade over time.
The champagne Roman dial uses Roman numerals. It is framed by a fluted 18k Everose gold bezel. The watch is fitted with the President bracelet with semi-circular three-piece links and a concealed Crownclasp.
The movement is the in-house Rolex caliber 3155, which runs for about 48 hours once fully wound. It is an officially certified chronometer, tested by COSC for accuracy. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters.
