The Rolex Yellow Gold Lady-Datejust 26 (Ref. 179178) is part of the Lady-Datejust line. The Lady-Datejust is the classic ladies' Datejust, with the date at 3 o'clock magnified under the Cyclops lens. This reference has a 26mm case in 18k yellow gold. Rolex casts its own 18k gold in-house, so the colour stays consistent from case to bracelet.
The mother-of-pearl diamond dial is cut from natural mother-of-pearl, so every dial has its own pattern, and has diamond hour markers. Around the dial sits a fluted 18k yellow gold bezel. The watch is fitted with the President bracelet with semi-circular three-piece links and a concealed Crownclasp.
Inside is the Rolex manufacture caliber 2235, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 48 hours. It is an officially certified chronometer, tested by COSC for accuracy. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters.
