The 40mm case is made of 18k yellow gold. Rolex casts its own 18k gold in-house, so the colour stays consistent from case to bracelet.
Its mother-of-pearl diamond dial is cut from natural mother-of-pearl, so every dial has its own pattern, and has diamond hour markers. It is framed by a yellow gold bezel engraved with a tachymetric scale. The case is paired with the three-piece-link Oyster bracelet.
It is powered by the self-winding Rolex caliber 4130, with roughly 72 hours of power reserve. It is an officially certified chronometer, tested by COSC for accuracy. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters.
