The Rolex Steel Lady-Datejust 26 carries reference 179160. The Lady-Datejust is the classic ladies' Datejust, with the date at 3 o'clock magnified under the Cyclops lens. Its 26mm case is crafted in Oystersteel. Oystersteel is Rolex's own corrosion-resistant steel, used on all of its steel watches.
The silver index dial uses applied index hour markers. It is framed by a polished domed bezel. The watch is fitted with the three-piece-link Oyster bracelet.
Inside is the Rolex manufacture caliber 2235, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 48 hours. It is an officially certified chronometer, tested by COSC for accuracy. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters. The Oyster case itself goes back to 1926, when Rolex introduced the first waterproof wristwatch case.
