The Datejust introduced the self-winding wristwatch with a date window in 1945, and the date sits under the Cyclops lens at 3 o'clock. Its 31mm case is crafted in Oystersteel and 18k white gold. Rolex has combined steel and gold this way since 1933 and calls it Rolesor.
