This Rolex Steel and White Gold Datejust 31, reference 278344RBR, is a member of the Datejust family. The Datejust introduced the self-winding wristwatch with a date window in 1945, and the date sits under the Cyclops lens at 3 o'clock. It has a 31mm case in Oystersteel and 18k white gold. Rolex has combined steel and gold this way since 1933 and calls it Rolesor.
On the front, the aubergine Roman diamond 6 dial has diamond hour markers, and uses Roman numerals. Around the dial sits a domed bezel set with diamonds. It is worn on the five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet.
