The Rolex Steel and Everose Gold Lady-Datejust 28 (Ref. 279161) is part of the Lady-Datejust line. The Lady-Datejust is the classic ladies' Datejust, with the date at 3 o'clock magnified under the Cyclops lens. This reference has a 28mm case in Oystersteel and 18k Everose gold. This steel-and-gold combination is what Rolex calls Rolesor, a signature of the brand since 1933.
Its Sundust diamond star dial is finished in Sundust, Rolex's soft pink-copper tone, and has diamond hour markers. Around the dial sits a polished domed bezel. It is worn on the five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet.
Inside is the Rolex manufacture caliber 2236, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 55 hours. Every movement of this generation is tested as a Superlative Chronometer, accurate to within −2/+2 seconds a day. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters.
