Reference 278341RBR is the Rolex Steel and Everose Gold Datejust 31. The Datejust introduced the self-winding wristwatch with a date window in 1945, and the date sits under the Cyclops lens at 3 o'clock. The 31mm case is made of Oystersteel and 18k Everose gold. This steel-and-gold combination is what Rolex calls Rolesor, a signature of the brand since 1933.
On the front, the chocolate diamond Roman VI dial has diamond hour markers, and uses Roman numerals. It is framed by a bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds. It is worn on the three-piece-link Oyster bracelet.
Inside is the Rolex manufacture caliber 2236, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 55 hours. It is certified as a Superlative Chronometer, Rolex's standard of accuracy within −2/+2 seconds per day once cased. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters.
