Reference 126000 is the Rolex Steel Oyster Perpetual 36. The Oyster Perpetual is Rolex's purest model: the waterproof Oyster case and the self-winding Perpetual movement, with nothing extra. The 36mm case is made of Oystersteel. Oystersteel is Rolex's own corrosion-resistant steel, used on all of its steel watches.
Its black index dial uses applied index hour markers. It is framed by a polished domed bezel. It is worn on the three-piece-link Oyster bracelet.
It is powered by the self-winding Rolex caliber 3230, with roughly 70 hours of power reserve. Every movement of this generation is tested as a Superlative Chronometer, accurate to within −2/+2 seconds a day. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters. The Oyster case itself goes back to 1926, when Rolex introduced the first waterproof wristwatch case.
