The Rolex Yellow Gold Day-Date 36 (Ref. 128398TBR) is part of the Day-Date line. The Day-Date was launched in 1956 as the first wristwatch to show both the date and the day of the week spelled out in full, and it is made only in gold and platinum. This reference has a 36mm case in 18k yellow gold. Rolex casts its own 18k gold in-house, so the colour stays consistent from case to bracelet.
Its white Roman dial uses Roman numerals. It is framed by a bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds. It is worn on the President bracelet with semi-circular three-piece links and a concealed Crownclasp.
Inside is the Rolex manufacture caliber 3255, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 70 hours.
