The Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea "James Cameron" 44 Steel carries reference 136660. The Deepsea is Rolex's extreme-depth dive watch, with the Ringlock case system and a helium escape valve. Its 44mm case is crafted in Oystersteel. Oystersteel is Rolex's own corrosion-resistant steel, used on all of its steel watches. Among collectors it goes by the nickname "James Cameron".
The D-Blue dial fades from bright blue to deep black, a tribute to James Cameron's 2012 solo dive to the Mariana Trench. Around the dial sits a unidirectional rotatable bezel with a Cerachrom ceramic insert and luminescent zero marker. The case is paired with the three-piece-link Oyster bracelet.
