The Rolex Steel Oyster Perpetual 36 (Ref. 126000) is part of the Oyster Perpetual line. The Oyster Perpetual is Rolex's purest model: the waterproof Oyster case and the self-winding Perpetual movement, with nothing extra. This reference has a 36mm case in Oystersteel. Oystersteel resists corrosion and keeps its polish even with daily wear.
The pink dial sets the tone for the whole watch. It is framed by a polished domed bezel. The watch is fitted with the three-piece-link Oyster bracelet.
Inside is the Rolex manufacture caliber 3230, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 70 hours. Every movement of this generation is tested as a Superlative Chronometer, accurate to within −2/+2 seconds a day. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters. The Oyster case itself goes back to 1926, when Rolex introduced the first waterproof wristwatch case.
