Reference 279178 is the Rolex Lady-Datejust Yellow Gold 28. The Lady-Datejust is the classic ladies' Datejust, with the date at 3 o'clock magnified under the Cyclops lens. The 28mm case is made of 18k yellow gold. Rolex casts its own 18k gold in-house, so the colour stays consistent from case to bracelet.
The champagne index dial uses applied index hour markers. The dial is surrounded by a fluted 18k yellow gold bezel. It is worn on the five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet.
Inside is the Rolex manufacture caliber 2236, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 55 hours.
