The 31mm case is made of 18k yellow gold. Rolex casts its own 18k gold in-house, so the colour stays consistent from case to bracelet.
On the front, the mother-of-pearl diamond dial is cut from natural mother-of-pearl, so every dial has its own pattern, and has diamond hour markers. The dial is surrounded by a fluted 18k yellow gold bezel. It is worn on the President bracelet with semi-circular three-piece links and a concealed Crownclasp.
The movement is the in-house Rolex caliber 2235, which runs for about 48 hours once fully wound. The movement is a COSC-certified chronometer, known for its reliability. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters.
