The Datejust introduced the self-winding wristwatch with a date window in 1945, and the date sits under the Cyclops lens at 3 o'clock. It has a 36mm case in Oystersteel and 18k white gold. This steel-and-gold combination is what Rolex calls Rolesor, a signature of the brand since 1933.
