This Rolex Datejust 36 Steel and Yellow Gold, reference 126283RBR, is a member of the Datejust family. The Datejust introduced the self-winding wristwatch with a date window in 1945, and the date sits under the Cyclops lens at 3 o'clock. It has a 36mm case in Oystersteel and 18k yellow gold. Rolex has combined steel and gold this way since 1933 and calls it Rolesor.

The white mother-of-pearl diamond dial is cut from natural mother-of-pearl, so every dial has its own pattern, and has diamond hour markers. Around the dial sits a bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The case is paired with the five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet.
