Reference 126589RBR is the Rolex Daytona White Gold 40. The Daytona has been Rolex's racing chronograph since 1963, built to time laps and measure average speed with its tachymetric scale. The 40mm case is made of 18k white gold. 18k white gold looks like steel at first glance but is noticeably heavier on the wrist.

Its white mother-of-pearl diamond dial is cut from natural mother-of-pearl, so every dial has its own pattern, and has diamond hour markers. Around the dial sits a bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The watch is fitted with the black Oysterflex bracelet, made of flexible metal blades coated in high-performance elastomer.

Inside is the Rolex manufacture caliber 4131, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 72 hours. It is certified as a Superlative Chronometer, Rolex's standard of accuracy within −2/+2 seconds per day once cased. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystal keep it water resistant to 100 meters.
